Little Miss Madelyn Reign Spires

Little Miss Madelyn Reign Spires, age 18 months, of Hazlehurst, GA, passed away suddenly Friday afternoon, September 22, 2017, as a result of injuries received in an auto accident. She was born March 17, 2016 to Jarik Cameron Spires and Anna Maria Ramirez. She was preceded in death by her maternal great grandfather, Billy Randall Deen and her paternal great grandparents: Joey and Carolyn Hickox.

Survivors include: parents: Jarik Cameron Spires and Anna Maria Ramirez both of Hazlehurst, GA; brothers: Levi Moore and Elijah Moore both of Hazlehurst, GA; sister, Janna Spires of Hazlehurst, GA; maternal grandparents: Daniel and Melissa Guernsey of Douglas, GA; maternal grandfather and step-grandmother: Roy and Renee Ramirez of Douglas, GA; paternal grandmother, Jennifer Hancock Allen of Moody, AL; paternal gandfather,Joseph Clark Jewell, Jr. of Douglas, GA; adopted grandparents: David and Dottie Spires of Hazlehurst, GA; maternal great grandmother, Dora Deen of Kingsland, GA; step-maternal great grandmother, Sue Zuniga of Douglas, GA; paternal great grandparents: Joe and Shirley Jewell of Douglas, GA; paternal great grandmother, Wilma Chauncey of Douglas, GA; several uncles, aunts and cousins.

The funeral service was held on Monday, September 25, 2017 at 2 p.m. at The Chapel of Ricketson Funeral Home where Elder Michael Jackson officiated. The interment followed Douglas City Cemetery.

Ricketson Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
