Karla Chaney, was the speaker at the Douglas Kiwanis Club meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2018, at the Flyin’ Cowboy restaurant. She spoke about the Friends of General Coffee State Park which is a chapter of the Friends of Georgia State Parks & Historic Sites. Members of the local chapter do volunteer work for the park as well as promote the park and provide financial aid to the park where needed.
The Kiwanis club members enjoyed and appreciated her presentation.
