The society offers orthopaedic surgeons educational programs on clinical and practice management topics, conducts advocacy efforts on behalf of orthopaedic surgeons and patients, provides opportunities to foster both personal and professional relations among orthopaedic surgeons, and promotes the specialty of orthopaedic surgery to the general public.
