What a wonderful winter it has been with the falling of real snow in Coffee County! Even though the students in Coffee County School System were still on Christmas break when they snow arrived, the Pre-K students at Eastside Elementary School had a second “Snow Fall” upon arrival back to school in their classroom.

“Snow” was piled up on top of their small group work tables ready to be explored. The Pre-K students enjoyed writing their name, letters, words, and numerals in the snow all while working on letter and numeral recognition skills as well as strengthening small motor skills. What a fun way to learn! It was another great day in Coffee County Pre-K!

Thank you to the many parents/guardians who helped…”bring in the snow….aka shaving cream”. We appreciate you!
