4-H DAY AT THE CAPITOL
On Feb. 1, 4-H members from across the state converged in Atlanta for 4-H Day at the State Capitol. 4-H members from Coffee County who participated include Jeremiah Brantley, Bethany Land, T.K. McIver, Willie Spence, Justin Strickland, Micheal Woods, Evie Woodward, Kimberly Wright and they were chaperoned by Mrs. Chalanda Woods. These folks got to hear Governor Nathan Deal and the First Lady Sandra Deal at the 4-H luncheon in the Freight Depot. While there, they also got to meet State Senator Tyler Harper and State Representative Dominic LaRiccia.
This event is held each year to introduce 4-H members to the legislative process as well as allow them to tour the state capitol.
