Mr. Bobby Wayne Hawkins, age 61, of Douglas, GA passed away on Monday, March 5, 2018, in Savannah, GA. Mr. Hawkins was born on October 14, 1956, in Douglas, Georgia to the late Norman Lafayette Hawkins, Sr and Annie Willene Anderson Hawkins.
Mr. Hawkins served in the US Marine Corps.
He is survived by: his daughter, Autumn and husband Casey Whittle of Douglas, GA; son, Jeremy Hawkins of Jennings, FL.; brother, Norman Lafayette Hawkins, Jr.; aunts: Charlene Prescott and Lera Merritt; grandchildren: Michael Whittle and Bethany Whittle; niece, Lauren Hawkins; and nephew, Joshua Hawkins. He was preceded in death by: father, Norman Lafayette Hawkins, Sr.; and mother, Annie Willene Anderson Hawkins.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, March 8, 2018, at Pine Grove Baptist Church where Rev. John Carver officiated.
Sims Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
