At the regular Douglas Mayor’s Youth Council on Thursday, May 17, 2018, the DYMC recognized the youngest member of the Chamber of Commerce, Zipporiah Wilcox. Ms. Wilcox utilizes her Christian faith to promote “girl power” among young ladies throughout the community.

A designer of t-shirts and jewelry, Ms. Wilcox plans to expand her business to include faith-based items for young men. “Ms. Wilcox is a very good example of youth in our community and their leadership qualities,” says Mayor Tony Paulk. “I am sure we will see some great things from this young entrepreneur in the future.”
