Satilla Regional Library System welcomed Just Add Rhythm to the Douglas-Coffee County Public Library on Wednesday, July 18, 2018, at 11 a.m. and to the Willacoochee Public Library at 2:30 p.m. for an interactive drumming show. Ms. Alisha talked about how drumming is good for the body and mind, talked about different drumming techniques, had the crowd play things back on the drums after demonstrating various drum techniques/ rhythms, played where’s the ducky game, and toss the soccer ball game. Everyone had a great time! There were a lot of laughs and fun by all that attended.

Our final Summer Reading Program performance will be Curious Moon Puppets with their puppet show, Fish n’ Ships on Wednesday, July 25, 2018, at 11 a.m. in Douglas and 2:30 p.m. in Pearson. There will be an ice cream party immediately following each performance.

For more information on upcoming youth programs at Satilla Regional Library System, please call Mrs. Julie Macomber Vickers, Children’s and Young Adult Librarian at (912) 384-4667 ext. 222.
