Cindy Taylor, age 61, of Douglas, passed away on Sunday October 7, 2018 at her residence following an extended illness. Mrs. Taylor was born on April 5, 1957 in Norfolk, Va., the daughter of the late Julian Lee Worth and Doris Norris Worth.

 

Mrs. Taylor was owner/operator of Thumbs Up Nursery, was a registered nurse and loved gardening.

 

Survivors include her husband, Ronald Taylor of Douglas; daughter, Santanna Landis (husband Jay) of St. Louis, Missouri; three sons, Glenn Collier (wife Marisa) of Florida , Jeremy Taylor (wife Lindsey) of Warner Robins, and Dakota Lee Taylor of Douglas; five grandchildren, Riley Landis, Christian Collier, Gage Collier, Christina Collier and Lena Collier; one great granddaughter, Miya Woodrum ; three brothers, Bo Worth, Randy Worth and Rusty Worth all from Norfolk, Va.; and several nieces and nephews.

 

Funeral services were held on Wednesday October 10, 2018 at 11 am at Sims Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Hover officiating. Interment followed in Douglas Gospel Assembly church cemetery.

 

Sims Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
