Linda Christine Davis ‘Chris’ Tomberlin

Linda Christine Davis Tomberlin, (Chris) or (GiGi) of Douglas, passed away on Friday, November 9, 2018 at her residence following an extended illness. Mrs. Tomberlin was born on February 21, 1949 in Coffee County. She was the daughter of the late Ralph Lee Davis and Alma Christine Tanner Davis. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Kelly (Butch) Tomberlin of Douglas; brother, Ralph Lee (RL) Davis Jr. of Atlanta; and sisters, Martha Jean (Martie) Stevens of Hazlehurst and Elizabeth Ann (Beth) Davis Yeomans of Atlanta.

Surviving family includes: Daughter, Angela Denise (Angie) Tomberlin Burkhalter with husband Pee Wee Burkhalter; son, Jack William (Bill) Tomberlin with husband Henry Carver; seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. She also had extended sons and daughters which were adopted into the family and loved all the same. Chris will be missed by many and loved by all. 

Homegoing services were at held 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, November 18, 2018 at 225 Corey Lane in Douglas.
