Tammy Lynne Paulk, age 51, of Ambrose, passed away on Tuesday May 21, 2019 in Atkinson County. Mrs. Paulk was born on August 25, 1967 in Douglas, the daughter of George Carroll Paulk and Judith Vickers Paulk.

She was the manager of Sally’s Beauty Supply in Douglas and was of the Baptist Faith.

Mrs. Paulk was preceded in death by her grandparents, Cliff and Minnie Maye Paulk, Grady and Bertha Vickers, and Janie Paulk.

Survivors include her husband, James Victor Paulk, Jr. of Ambrose; daughter, Ashley Spivey and husband Dale of Axson; son, Victor Paulk II and girlfriend Sheala Brown of Ambrose; grandchildren, Collyns Spivey, Dallas Spivey and Ally Spivey; parents, Rev. George Carroll and Judith V. Paulk of Douglas; two sisters, Debra Davis and husband Delbert of Pearson and Lori Lott and husband Andy of Douglas; nieces and nephews, Andrew Lott, Hunter Lott, Kayla Parker and husband Corey, Korlie Cato and Martin Cato Jr.

Funeral services will be held on Friday May 31, 2019 at 11 am at Saving Grace Ministries with Rev. George Carroll Paulk and Rev. Cliff Kirkland officiating. Interment will follow at New Hope Church Cemetery in Ambrose. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 pm until 9 pm at Sims Funeral Home.  Pallbearers will be Rhen Hester, Andrew Lott, Hunter Lott, Martin Cato Jr., Jason Vickers, Nick Harper, Chase Williams and Dalton Paulk.

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
