Mr. Bobby Stone, 65, of Lakeland, passed away September 11, 2019 under the care of Langdale Hospice of Valdosta. Mr. Stone was born December 13, 1953 to the late Jack and Margaret Stone in Homerville, GA. After serving in the National Guard Army early in life, he became self-employed operating his own business.

He is survived by sons Bobby Joe Stone and wife Crystal of Douglas and Charles Hutchinson and wife Christy of Lakeland; daughters Susie Storey of Douglas, Rosemary Davis and husband Albert, Jr. of Homerville, Margaret Sanders and husband Allen of Lakeland, and Lilly Stone of Lakeland; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. 

Other than his parents, Mr. Stone was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Reliford Stone. 

Visitation will take place Thursday September 19, 2019 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Johnson Funeral & Cremation Services of Douglas.

Funeral services will be held Friday, September 20, 2019 at 2 PM in the chapel of Johnson Funeral & Cremation Services. 

Interment will take place at Royals Cemetery in Atkinson County.

Johnson Funeral & Cremation Services is in charge of the arrangements.
