New clothing store comes to downtown

On the afternoon of Friday, September 27, the Douglas-Coffee County community celebrated the grand opening and ribbon cutting for Prestige: Fine Clothing for Men and Women located at 102 North Peterson Avenue in Douglas.

Many friends and family gathered to support business owners Lynda Mobley and her son Dudley Mobley.  Mr. Mobley thanked all those in attendance for their support and encouragement for the new business.  On behalf of the Douglas-Coffee County Chamber of Commerce, Exec. VP Lisa Hodge and Board Chairman Donny Bradshaw shared congratulatory remarks for the Mobley Family’s new venture of opening a fine clothing boutique in downtown Douglas.

Commissioner Cindy McNeil offered her support for Prestige on behalf of the City of Douglas as they begin this venture. Go by and see their terrific selection of apparel for men and women, accessories, and more in the historic, newly restored Varnedore Building across from Atkinson Plaza. For more information, call 912-331-1459.
