Pamela Michelle Wells, age 53, of Douglas, passed away on Wednesday November 27, 2019 at St. Joseph Candler Hospital in Savannah.

Pamela was born on January 22, 1966 in Douglas, the daughter of the late Elvin Taylor and the late Allie Melton Taylor. She was a homemaker and the best cook in the world. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by six siblings.

Survivors include her husband, Richard Wells, Douglas; daughter, Allison Hernandez of Douglas; two grandchildren, Jordan Hernandez and Jaci Hernandez, both of Douglas; two sisters, Gail Merritt (Stanley) of Douglas and Debbie Carter (Howard) of Douglas; two brothers, Billy Taylor (Nell) of Douglas and Denny Taylor (Beuleatha) of Deaton; special friend, Michele Polanco of Douglas; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday December 2, 2019 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home with Rev. Victor Gilbert officiating. Interment will follow at Douglas City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be John Robert Wood, Scott Bender, Dudley Taylor, Bruce Taylor, Michael Taylor, Kyle Griffis, Cody Carter and Howard Carter. 

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
