Mrs. Bonnie Stokes Cothern

Mrs. Bonnie Stokes Cothern, 80, passed away Thursday evening December 5, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. She was born to the late Henery Stokes and Martha Ann Sapp in Douglas on October 5, 1939.

Mrs. Cothern is survived by her son; Stevie Cothern (Judy) of Nicholls; daughter Crystal Stone (Bobby Joe) of Douglas; grand-daughters Nicole Allen (John), Katie Miller and Hannah Guzman (Eutiquio); grandsons Matthew Stone and Jared Francis; several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family members also survive.

Other than her parents Mrs. Cothern is preceded in death by her husband, LR Cothern; and Rickey Cothern and James Osbern Stokes. 

Funeral Services were held Sunday, December 8, 2019 at 12:30 PM at Harvest Time Church of God in Douglas with Rev. Glenn Fussell and Buddy Cothern officiating. Burial followed in Lone Hill Cemetery in West Green.

Johnson Funeral & Cremation Services was in charge of the arrangements.
