Mrs. LaGene Miles Trammell, age 72 of Douglas, passed away early Sunday morning, January 19, 2020, at Coffee Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. Mrs. Trammell was born January 13, 1948 to the late Rufus Pirkle Miles and the late Nelda Kennedy Miles. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, John Maxwell Miles.
Mrs. Trammell, a native of Brunswick, was a homemaker.
Survivors include: Her husband, Russell Trammell of Douglas; daughters Tammy Trammell and Monica Grainger, both of Douglas; sister Susan Elaine Lawrence of Dothan, Ala.; grandchildren Ashley Trammell, Shawn Graham, Kyle Graham and Zach Bitting, all of Douglas; great grandchildren Karley Graham and Logan Graham, both of Pearson, and Asher Burke of Douglas; nephew Lee Yancey of Dothan, Ala.; and many cousins.
