Coffee High FBLA impresses regional judges

The advisers of Coffee High School FBLA, Mrs. Barlow, Ms. Gilliard, Mrs. Joyner, and Ms. Hodges are very proud of these students! The Coffee High School CTAE Director, Mrs. Rhonda Dorsey, stated that she was so proud of all of the hard work that they had put in this year!

CHS FBLA definitely followed their vision and set forth to win some awards at the Region 2 FBLA Conference hosted on January 28, 2020 at Ware County High School.

Overall, Coffee High received third place in the region for Largest Chapter Membership. Samina Patel received first place in Electronic Career Portfolio and is advancing to state in that event. Ana Escbar, Milca Ramirez, and Samina Patel also placed first in Graphic Design and will be advancing to state as well. Coffee also brought home second place in Graphic Design withthe team of Carolina Cecenas, Natalie Rodriguez, and Mystic Wilkes. Cailey Martinez placed first and Ariyelle Wells placed ninth in Introduction to Business Communication and both ladies will be advancing to state. Timothy Tucker placed second in Impromptu Speaking, which advances to state. Ashni Patel advanced to state in both Job Interview and Future Business Leader with second places in both. Timothy Tucker also placed in Future Business Leader with fifth place.

Other placings include Caitlin Cato and Jacklyn Burkhalter, who placed second in Publication Design; Diana Garduno and CaileyMartinez, who placed fifth in Introduction to Business Presentation; Isaiah Paulk, who placed fifth in Public Speaking; and Ana Escobar, who placed second in Sales Presentation.

FBLA State competition will be held March 20-21 in Atlanta at the Hyatt Hotel.
