Brittany Nicole Floyd Evans, 29, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2020 in Jacksonville, Florida. She was born February 1, 1991 in Douglas, Georgia to Brian and Michelle Floyd.

 

Brittany lived in Ambrose, Georgia until the age of eight then lived in New York for seven years and then Jacksonville, Florida for the last six years. She was of the Baptist faith and most recently attended Eleven-Twenty-two church in Jacksonville, Florida. She graduated from Coffee High School in Douglas and went to Valdosta State University and Florida State College at Jacksonville where she received her Bachelor’s degree in graphic arts. Survivors include her husband Andy Evans; children Brandon Sage Evans (7) and Olivia Jade Evans (9). She is also survived by her father, Rev. Timothy Brian Floyd (Danielle), her mother Michelle (Carter) Floyd (Haiko de Poel, Jr.), stepbrother Thomas Floyd, paternal grandparents Harold Floyd (Kathy), Linda Harrell (Lorell), aunt Angie Floyd Wilson (Mark), uncle Stephen Carter, aunt Misty Phillips, and numerous other relatives and friends.

 

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Marty Carter and Patsy Anderson, and uncle Glen Solomon. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, March 14 at Countryside Baptist Church located at 23 Dove Lane in Waycross, 31503, with pastor Chad Stanley officiating. Food will be served after the service in the fellowship hall. Family will receive guests starting at 10:30 a.m. at the church.
