Mr. Joseph “Buck” Brand Nugent, age 53 of Pearson, Ga., passed away, Tuesday, September 29, 2020, at his home surrounded by his family, following an extended illness.
Survivors include:
Daughter: Sarah Nugent of Douglas, Ga.
Brother: Randy Nugent and wife, Lacey of Douglas, Ga.
Sister: Pat Wright of Douglas, Ga.
Former wife and mother of daughter, Sarah: Kim Hall of Douglas, Ga.
Special Friend: Fancy Franzen
Several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives also survive.
Funeral services for Mr. Nugent will be held Friday, October 2, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Pearson with Father Paul O’Connell and Rev. Edward Mathews officiating. The interment will follow in the Nugent Family Cemetery in Coffee County, Ga.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made in Mr. Nugent’s honor to Holy Family Catholic Church:
