Matthew Joseph “Joe” Lott Jr., age 57, of Broxton, Georgia passed away on Saturday November 21, 2020. Mr. Lott was born on July 25, 1963 in Douglas, Georgia the son of Wilma Ricketson Lott and the late Matthew Joseph Lott Sr.

 

Mr. Lott was a store owner. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death son, Joseph Aaron Lott.

 

Survivors include his mother, Wilma Ricketson Lott of Broxton, GA; sister, Renee Weeks (Keith) of Broxton, GA; nephew, Matthew B. Humphrey of Orlando, FL.

 

Graveside services were held on Wednesday November 25, 2020 at 2:00pm at Reedy Branch Church Cemetery with Rev. Michael Harper officiating.

 

The family requests remembrances by assisting families of need at Thanksgiving or Christmas.

 

Sims Funeral Home is charge of arrangements.

 

Due to COVID-19, Sims Funeral Home Inc. will require all guests and attendees to wear appropriate medical grade face-masks and maintain social distancing at all times while visiting our facility, and highly encouraged at our services outside of our facility.  Masks are not provided.
