Mr. Larry C. Metts, age 84 of Powder Springs, passed away Monday, January 4, 2021 at Wellstar Community Hospice in Austell following an extended illness.

 

Survivors include:

 

Wife:  Maggie Vickers Metts of Powder Springs, Ga.

 

Son:  Kipp Metts and wife Beverly of Powder Spings, Ga.

 

Daughter:  Dana Simmons and husband Scott of Powder Springs, Ga.

 

Grandchildren:  Joshua Metts, Nathaniel Metts, Stephanie Lindell and husband Jaron, and Sean Simmons.

 

Great grandchildren:  Amberly Metts, Ryan Metts, and Blayklee Lindell.

 

Several other relatives also survive.

 

Mr. Metts is preceded in death by his great-granddaughter, Kaylee White-Lindell, and a brother, Elton O. Metts, Jr.

 

Funeral services for Mr. Metts will be held on Thursday, January 7, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at Relihan Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Donnie Smith and Mr. Greg Lloyd officiating. The interment will follow in Willacoochee CityCemetery.

 

Visitation for Mr. Metts will be held Thursday, January 07, 2021 from 1:00 – 2:00 P.M. at Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson.

 

Attendees are asked to comply with the current guidelines and restrictions concerning containment of the coronavirus, including masks and social distancing.

 

Relihan Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
