Mr. George Daniel Boatright, age 56 of Pearson, Ga., formerly of Homerville, Ga., passed away Saturday, February 27, 2021 at his home following a short illness.

 

Born on July 23, 1964 to Mr. and Mrs. Wilford and Resa Lashley Boatright, Mr. Boatright worked as a truck driver until his health declined.  He enjoyed working with racehorses, fishing, watching NASCAR and football, especially Georgia Bulldogs and the Atlanta Falcons.  Mr. Boatright loved his dog, “Chopper,” and joking around with family and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents. 


Survivors include:

 

Wife:  Brenda Boatright of Pearson, Ga.

 

Sons:  Brody Myers of Pearson, Ga.

John Boatright of Fairfield, Ia.

Larry Boatright of Fairfield, Ia.

Christopher Huelett of Farmington, Ia.

 

Daughters:  Kaasi Ventress of Dalton, Ga.

Tricia Reed and husband, Michael of Springville, N.Y.

 

Brother:  Charles Boatright of Willacoochee, Ga.

 

Sisters:  Debra Gonzalez of Pearson, Ga.

Patricia Walsh and husband, Michael of Boca Raton, Fl.

Linda Ayala of Palm Bay, Fl.

Sharon Mathis and Tony Harding of McRae, Ga.

 

Grandchildren:  Henry Reed, Taylor Reed, Elvin, and Payzlynn McKim

 

Memorialization was by cremation.

 

Memorial services for Mr. Boatright will be held at a later time.

 

Relihan Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
