A ribbon cutting and open house will be held on June 1 for O’Malley Musical Instruments at its new location 903 South Madison Avenue. The Douglas-Coffee County Chamber of Commerce will coordinate the event and  owner Danny Maley invites friends to attend the opening at 10 a.m.  There will be refreshments followed by a tour and demonstration of the many musical instruments.

O’Malley has a full line of instruments and accessories, guitars, keyboards and recording consoles. The firm, which opened in Douglas in 2015 offers a very successful instrument lease to schools as for north as Macon, and similarly to the south, east and west.

Veteran musicians and music educators who make up the sales team  — John Reed, Michael Dukes, Dillon Selph and Brian Summerlin will be present at the open house to answer questions about the O’Malley instruments, and school rental program.
