Mrs. Wanda H. Bowen, age 76 of Pearson, Ga., passed away, Friday, May 28, 2021 at Navicent Medical Center in Macon following an extended illness.  

 

Survivors include:

 

2 Sons:  Benjamin Hawkins of Pearson, Ga.

               Eddie Hawkins of Douglas, Ga.

 

Daughter:  Wanda Gail Hawkins of Pearson, Ga.

 

4 Brothers:  Maurice Mobley and wife Janice of Pearson, Ga.

                      Kenneth Mobley of Waycross, Ga.

                      Paul Wayne Hester and wife Tammy of Waresboro, Ga.

                      Jerry Hester and wife Rachael of Waycross, Ga.

 

3 Sisters:  Betty Ann Cooper of Valdosta, Ga.

       Diann Wilkerson of Willacoochee, Ga.

       Brenda Hester of Waycross, Ga.

 

8 Grandchildren, 4 Great-Grandchildren, along with several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.

 

Funeral services for Mrs. Bowen will be held Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at Relihan Funeral Home Chapel in Pearson. The interment will follow in Lang Cemetery in Clinch County.

 

Visitation for Mrs. Bowen will be held Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga. from 6:00-8:00 P.M.

 

Attendees are asked to comply with the current guidelines and restrictions regarding containment of the coronavirus, including masks and social distancing.

 

Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson is in charge of the arrangements.
