The Lady Trojans picked up win #1 for 2021 with a 10-2 victory on the road in McRae on Monday.
Emily Elisis had a huge day at the plate with 4 hits and a couple of RBI for Coffee. Jenna Graham, Hannah Capps, and Dalana Smith each had a pair of hits including 5 RBI from senior Graham. Emily Robinson, Kaci Thacker, and Imani Paulk added a single hit to round out the offense. Senior pitcher Emily Robinson threw a 4 hitter going the distance allowing only 2 runs.
“It was good to get the offense on track after being shutout in the first two games this year. We had some good swings by some upper classmen to get things going,” stated head coach Stan Hughes.
