Irene London, age 56, loving mother of three and wife, passed away the morning of June 14, 2022, after developing complications in a long-term acute hospital in Macon, GA.

Irene was born on December 18, 1965, to Arzella and the late Robert Outlaw in Douglas, Georgia. Irene graduated in 1983 from Coffee High School and completed studies at Job Corp. In 1987, Irene and Alphonso London was united in holy matrimony. To this union, three children were born.

Irene, our mother, was one of the strongest, most intelligent, courageous, bravest, and kindest women ever to walk this earth, and our family was blessed to have her. She was a fiercely dedicated mom to all of her children, encouraging them to accomplish great things. Irene loved her family, in which she instilled the value of family in the people surrounding her. The hole left by her absence is impossible to fill.

Irene London was preceded in death by her father, Robert Outlaw, her brother, Andrew Outlaw, and her brothers-in-law: Issac Clemmons, Ernest Smith, and Larry Norwood.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her mother, Arzella Outlaw; her husband, Alphonso London; three children: Brittany (Roderick) Martin, Mario London, and NaKayla London; her grandson: Quadir; her dog, King; four sisters: Rosetta (Guindell) Brockington, Imogene Clemmons, Mattie Mae Smith, and Linda Sue (William) Fuller and a host of nieces and nephews.

Harrell’s Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
