Mr. Charles Wilson Knight, age 80 of Ambrose, GA passed away early Tuesday morning, July 19, 2022 at Coffee Regional Medical Center following a short illness. Mr. Knight was born February 27, 1942 to the late C. W. Knight and the late Nora Lee Thompson Knight. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 Sons: Chuck Knight, Jr. and Ron Parker, Jr. and 3 Brothers: Elbert, Osborne and Bobby Knight.
Mr. Knight, a native of Laurens County, GA, had lived in Coffee County for many years. He had built frames for Southern Furniture of Ocilla. Mr. Knight was a member of Harvest Time Church of God.

The funeral service will be held Friday afternoon, July 22, 2022 at 1:00 PM at DeBerry Baptist Church with Rev. Jeremy Cox and Rev. Larry Dean officiating. The Interment will follow at DeBerry Cemetery. Mr. Knight will be placed in the church to lie-in-state from 12:00 Noon until the funeral hour of 1:00 PM.
Active Pallbearers for the service will be: Mathew Albritton, David Giddens, Ryan Tanner, Jared Johnson, John Ott and Matt McCallum.
The church choir will furnish the music along with the pianist, Peggy Ott.
The family will receive friends on Thursday evening, July 21, 2022, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Ricketson Funeral Home.
