Mr. Larry Wayne Davis, age 80 of Douglas, GA passed away early Sunday morning, July 24, 2022 at Pruitt Health in Ocilla, GA following an extended illness. 

 

 

Mr. Davis was born November 18, 1941 to the late Roy Davis, Sr. and the late Vida Ray Davis. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by 7 Siblings: Billy Davis, Rev. Roy Davis, Jr., Freddie Davis, Stanley Davis, Kenneth Davis, Mary Fussell and Janet Bounds. 

 

 

Mr. Davis, a native of Coffee County, had been a bookkeeper by trade. 

 

 

Survivors include: 

 

 

1 Brother: Donnie Davis and wife Jean of Douglas, GA 

 

 

1 Sister: Judy Rickerson and husband Vernon of Douglas, GA 

 

 

Several Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and many Friends 

 

 

The graveside service and interment will be held, Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Douglas City Cemetery with Rev. Christian Colson officiating. 

 

 

The family will receive friends July 27, 2022 at Ricketson Funeral Home from 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM. 

 

 

The active pallbearers for the service will be: Royce Fussell, Terry Fussell, Freddie Davis, Jr., Chris Burkett, Justin Burkett and Blake Burkett. 

 

 

Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
