Ms. Diane Hill Wooten, age 76 of Nicholls, GA passed away early Friday morning, July 29, 2022 at Hospice House Satilla in Waycross, GA. 

 

 

She was born December 8, 1945 to the late George Hill and the late Lucy Moore Hill. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Jimmy Dale Wooten; 1 Grandson: Greg “Bubba” Harrell, Jr.; 1 Daughter; Kim Vining; Siblings: Bill Hill, Faye and Buddy Vaughn, George Hill, Jr. and Myrtice; and a Step-Daughter: Christy Wooten. 

 

 

Survivors include: 

 

 

1 Son: Greg Harrell and wife Tina of Nicholls, GA 

 

 

2 Grandchildren: Diona Williams and husband Chris of Callahan, FL 

Andrew Harrell and wife Jo of Huntsville, AL 

 

 

1 Great Grandchild: Gregory Williams of Callahan, FL 

 

 

4 Siblings: Bobby Hill of FL 

Betty Day, Mary Ann Highsmith and Tommy Hill all of Douglas, GA 

 

 

1 Step Daughter: Kathy Faircloth of Jesup, GA 

 

 

4 Step Grandchildren: Abbie McBee and husband Luke of Jesup, GA 

Emma Faircloth of Hinesville, GA 

Jarrett Faircloth of Statesboro, GA 

Paris Wynn of Jesup, GA 

 

 

1 Step Great Grandchild: McKenna McBee of Jesup, GA 

 

 

A number of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends 

 

 

The funeral service will be held Monday, August 1, 2022 at 3:00 PM at West Ward Church of God with Bishop Britt Peavy officiating. The interment will follow in Douglas City Cemetery. 

 

 

The family will receive friends Monday, August 1, 2022 form 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at West Ward Church of God. 

 

 

Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
