Mr. Herbert Joiner, age 78 of Rockledge, FL formerly of Coffee County, passed away late Tuesday night, August 9, 2022 at Viera Hospital in Melbourne, FL. Mr. Joiner was born March 19, 1944 to the late Love Joiner and the late Virue Sears Joiner. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Angie Joiner; 1 Great Granddaughter: Sadie Hutto, 6 Siblings: Hiram Joiner, Albert Joiner, Roy Joiner, David Joiner, Ruby Wielgus and E. L. Joiner. 

 

 

Mr. Joiner, a native of Coffee County, was a truck driver for many years with Douglas Propane Gas. 

 

 

Survivors include: 

 

 

Sons: Darren Joiner and wife Lynn of Cape Canaveral, FL 

Jeff Joiner and wife Tammie of West Columbia, SC 

 

 

12 Grandchildren and 20 Great Grandchildren 

 

 

A number of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends 

 

 

The funeral service will be held Saturday, August 13, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Chapel of Ricketson Funeral Home with Bro. C. T. Peavy officiating. Eulogies will be presented by Ron Reef and Billy Bell. The interment will follow at Harrell Grove Cemetery with Bro. C. T. Peavy conducting the graveside service. 

 

 

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 13, 2022 from noon to 1:00 PM at Chapel of Ricketson Funeral Home. 

Active Pallbearers for the service will be: D. J. Joiner, Joshua Joiner, Jeffery Joiner, Jr., Ryan Joiner, Christopher Joiner, Nick Joiner and Blake Joiner. 

 

 

Due to COVID, attendees are asked to observe six foot social distancing at the visitation, funeral service and interment. Please wear your mask for safety precautions to all that are a part of this service. 

 

 

Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
