The annual Eggs & Issues event will take place next week, allowing citizens to speak to state representatives before the 2022 assembly session.

Eggs & Issues will consist of a Q&A session and remarks from local legislators, including House of Representatives Clay Pirkle and James Burchett and Senators Carden Summers and Blake Tillery.

All community members are encouraged to attend the program, which will take place at the Douglas Golf and Country Club on Thursday, December 15. The program will start at 8:00 a.m., with a breakfast buffet open at 7:30 a.m.

Admission for Eggs & Issues is free, and $10 a person for the meal.

The event is hosted annually by the Douglas-Coffee County Chamber of Commerce, and is sponsored by Coffee Regional Medical, Carried Away Creations, and AgSouth Farm Credit, AGA.

Contact the chamber at (912) 384-1873 or e-mail them at chamber@douglasga.org.
