Mrs. Henrietta Giddens Brown, age 74 years old, of Pearson, Ga., passed away, Saturday, December 31, 2022, at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas, Ga., following an extended illness. 

 

 

She was born in Douglas, Ga. on December 27, 1948, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Willie and Ethel Harrell Giddens.  Mrs. Henrietta made her home in Pearson, where she worked many years with Lindsey & Wills in Douglas, Ga. as a veterinarian technician, and later, with the Atkinson County Board of Education Transportation Department as a bus driver, for over ten years.  She enjoyed fishing and working in her flowers and gardening, but her most loved times were spent with family.  Mrs. Henrietta was preceded in death, along with her parents, by her husband, Greg Brown, brother: Kenn Giddens, sister: Pat Giddens Smith, and brother-in-law; G.D. Moore.

 

 

Survivors include:

 

 

Sons:  Clay Davis and wife, Becky of Pearson, Ga.

Shane Davis of Axson, Ga.

 

 

2 Brothers:  Harrell “Poochie” Giddens and wife, Nettie of Homerville, Ga.

Wayne Giddens and wife, Virginia of Pearson, Ga.

 

 

Brother-in-law:  Roger Giddens of Pearson, Ga.

 

 

3 Sisters:  Karen Moore of Pearson, Ga.

Linda Purvis and husband, Raymond of Pearson, Ga.

Paula Tanner and husband, Floyd of Axson, Ga.

 

 

4 Grandchildren and 2 Great-Grandchildren, along with several other relatives also survive.

 

 

Memorialization was by cremation.

 

 

Relihan Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
