Carroll Taylor, age 79, of Broxton, Georgia, passed away on Monday, February 6, 2023. Mr. Taylor was born on April 16, 1943, in Coffee County, GA to George Washington Taylor and Cora Mae Spell Taylor.

 

 

Survivors include;  Wife: Diane Taylor of Broxton, GA, Daughter: Lisa Mancil (Jimmy) of Douglas, GA, Step Daughter: Belinda Yawn (David) of Wray, GA, Step Son: Bill Padgett (Dianne) of Fitzgerald, GA, Seven Grandchildren: Hope Miller (Josh), Steven Paulk, Michael Mancil, Wesley Yawn (Lauren), Renae Salter (Ron), William Padgett and Jacob Padgett, Three Sisters: Ruth Jones of Douglas, GA, Barbara Jean Dykes (Clyde) of Alabama, Evelyn Roberts of Douglas, GA, Brother: Eugene Taylor (Grace) of Douglas, GA, Six Great Grandchildren, several Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by; Parents: George and Cora Mae Taylor, First Wife: Joyce Duren Taylor, Daughter: Carolyn Denise Taylor, Two Brothers and Three Sisters.

 

 

The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 8, 2023 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Sims Funeral Home.

 

 

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2023 at 2:00PM at Chatterton Holiness Baptist Church with Rev. Daniel “Bubba” Smith, Pastor Rob Merritt officiating. Renae Salter will present the eulogy. Interment followed at Chatterton Cemetery. Active Pallbearers will be: Josh Miller, Wesley Yawn, Jimmy Mancil, William Padgett, Jacob Padgett and David Yawn.

 

 

Sympathy may be expressed by signing the online registry at www.simsfuneralhome.org.
