Mr. Olan Fredrick Harrison, Sr. age 82 of Nicholls, GA passed away early Saturday morning, February 18, 2023 at his residence following an extended illness.
Mr. Harrison was born May 29, 1940 to the late Morgan Lee Harrison Sr. and the late Rosa Belle Hand Harrison. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Leola Gertrude Wooten Harrison, 1 Son: Greg Harrison, 7 Siblings: Florine H. Lankford, Eloise H. Story, Vonice H. Burkett, Mary Martha H. McQuaig, Priscilla Lane H. Arnold, Rueben Harrison and Raymond Harrison.
Mr. Harrison, a native of Coffee County, had been a self-employed mechanic at Harrison Transmission and Repair. He was a member of Church of Jesus Christ.

Hospice Staff and Members including Becky Smith and Lauren Tucker
The funeral service will be held Monday afternoon, February 20, 2023 at 3:00 PM at Chapel of Ricketson Funeral Home with Bro. Adreion Harrison officiating. Bro. Keith (Rocky) Harper, Lee Harrison and Glenda Harrison will present eulogies. The interment will follow in Mt. Pleasant (Byrd Church) Cemetery in Jeff Davis County.
The family will receive friends on Monday afternoon, February 20, 2023 from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Chapel of Ricketson Funeral Home.
The active pallbearers for the service will be: Rusty Harper, Daniel McElhaney, Brian Harper, Kevin Harper, Brandon Caves, Taylor McElhaney, Cory Caves and Ryan Harrison.
