Mr. John Milton Guilford, age 83 of Douglas, GA passed away Sunday afternoon, February 19, 2023 at Coffee Regional Medical Center following a brief illness. Mr. Guilford was born December 17, 1939 to the late N. F. Guilford and the late Ethyl Wiggins Guilford.
Mr. Guilford, a native of Douglas, GA, had been employed in the accounting profession for 57 years. He owned and operated John Guilford’s Accounting Office. He was a member of Sigma Chi fraternity and also a member of St. Mark United Methodist Church. He was an avid fan of the Florida State Seminoles. Mr. Guilford received his Bachelor’s of Business Administration Degree in Accounting from Florida State University.

The memorial service will be held Wednesday afternoon, February 22, 2023 at 2:00 PM at St. Mark United Methodist Church with Rev. Chris Calhoun and Rev. Lowery Brantley officiating. Randy Benson will present a eulogy.
The family asks that all members of the 1958 Class at Coffee High School that can attend the service for Mr. Guilford, please sit as a group as honorary pallbearers.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday afternoon, February 22, 2023 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 P.M. at St. Mark United Methodist Church. Memorialization is by cremation.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to St. Mark United Methodist Church 501 East Walker Street Douglas, GA.
