Robert Jason Mancil, age 47, of Nicholls, Georgia passed away on Monday, March 13, 2023, at his residence following a brief illness . Mr. Mancil was born on December 24, 1975, in Douglas, GA to Carolyn P. Mancil and the late Grady Ray Mancil.

 

 

Survivors include: Mother, Carolyn P. Mancil of Nicholls, GA, Daughter, Raelyn Brooke (Mitchell) Tucker of Ambrose, GA, Son, Jacob Kameron (Mallory) Mancil of Willacoochee, GA, Grandchildren, Aubree Grimes, Hallie Tucker, and Lane Tucker; Brothers, Grady Ray Mancil, Jr. of Loganville, GA, Mark (Christina) Mancil of Douglas, GA, Niece, Katie Mancil of Dallas, GA, and Nephew, Garrett Mancil of Douglas, GA. Mr. Mancil was preceded in death by his father, Grady Ray Mancil, Sr.

 

 

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 17, 2023, at 2:00 pm, at the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Miles and Rev. Larry Stone officiating. Interment followed at Salem Holiness Baptist Church Cemetery. Active Pallbearers will be: Josh White, Ryan Cribb, Steven Batten, Perry Thomas, James Meeks, Garrett Mancil, and Ray Lanier. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Tony Japuntich, Bacon County Touchdown Club, Joe Hayes, Christopher Hutcheson, Mary Alice and Jerry Landmon.

 

 

The family will receive friends Thursday, March 16, 2023, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, at Sims Funeral Home.

 

 

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
