Pearlie Polly McConnell, age 75, of Douglas, GA passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at Coffee Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. Ms. McConnell was born on February 27, 1948 in Coffee County, GA to the late Clement and Lillie B. Pease.

 

 

Survivors include: Four Daughters; Regina (Richard) Westberry of Douglas, GA, Lillie McConnell of Valdosta, GA, Melissa Harper of Douglas, GA, Brandi McConnell of Valdosta, GA, Two Sons; James Darwin Pease of Douglas, GA, Troy Gary McConnell Jr. of WY, 17 Grandchildren; Several Great Grandchildren; Three Sisters; Patsy Johns of Douglas, GA, Wanda (Bill) Waldron of Douglas, GA, Cindy Williams of Douglas, GA, Two Brothers; C.J. Pease of Douglas, GA, and Roger (Rhonda) Pease of Douglas, GA. Ms. McConnell was also survived by several Nieces and Nephews. Ms. McConnell was preceded in death by: Parents; Clement and Lillie B. Pease, One Daughter; Macey McConnell, and One Sister; Frances Snipes.

 

 

The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 20, 2023 from 12:30PM until 1:30PM at Sims Funeral Home.

 

 

Graveside funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at 2:00PM at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery in Atkinson County, GA, with Rev. Edison Williams officiating. Active Pallbearers will be: Johnathan Davis, Joseph Littlejon, Jamie Merritt, Danny Davis, Gerald Hutchinson, and Wesley Sherrod.

 

 

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
