William Heyward “Bill” Brawner Jr., age 79, of Broxton, GA, passed away on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Brawner was born on December 16, 1943 to the late William Heyward Brawner and Martha Milhollin  Brawner.

 

 

Survivors include: One Daughter; Brooke Brawner (Jeremy) Lott of West Green, GA, Two Grandchildren; Jaksen Lott, Judson Lott, Four Nieces and Nephews; Lori (David) Hersey, Liz (Chris) Grantham, Blair Brawner, and Will (Eve) Brawner. Mr. Brawner was preceded in death by: His Parents;  William Heyward Brawner and Martha Milhollin  Brawner, Two Brothers; David Brawner and Mike Brawner.

 

 

The family will receive friends on Monday, May 29, 2023 from 3:00PM until 4:00PM at the First United Methodist Church.

 

 

Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 29, 2023 at 4:00PM at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Benji Varnell officiating and Will Brawner will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow at the Douglas City Cemetery. Active Pallbearers will be: Don Brooks, Elton Brooks, Brooks Adcock, Bill Ellis, Mark Brulte, Danny Paulk, and Ronald Lott.

 

 

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
