Johnson Funeral & Cremation Services announces the funeral service for Mr. Mickey Lee Jowers, age 71, of Ambrose, who passed away Friday, June 9, 2023.
Visitation services will be held from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM, Sunday, June 11, 2023 in Reedy Branch Church. Services will begin at 4 pm with Rev. Michael Harper & Rev. Doralyn Paulk officiating. Burial will be in the Bethany Cemetery in Coffee County.
Mr. Jowers was born in Douglas, Ga. He was the son of the late John Newton Jowers & Bura Carver Jowers and was preceded in death by a Son: Brannen Jowers & a Sister: Mary Anna Brooks. Mr. Jowers was a brick mason.
Survivors include: Daughters: Stormy Jowers of Dublin & Janna Williams of Douglas; Son: Chance Jowers of Douglas; Brothers: Johnny Wayne Jowers (Shanda), Jesse Jowers (Teresa) all of Douglas; Niece: Lacey Nugent of Douglas; Nephew: John Jowers of Douglas; Special Friends: Faith Rutherford of Fitzgerald & Jerome Merritt; 8 Grandchildren, 8 Great-Grandchildren; and a host of nieces & nephews also survive.
