Sophie Wills, age 86, of Douglas, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at Lakeside Senior Living. Mrs. Wills was born on January 21, 1937, in Burke County, Georgia to Henry Russell Cohen and Mary Nell Barrett Cohen.

 

 

Survivors include: 4 Sons: Mike  (Renee) Wills of Douglas, GA, Ralph (Cindy) Wills of Tampa, FL, Charles  (Cathy ) Wills of Ambrose, GA, Allen  (Jennifer) Wills of Atlanta, GA, 1 Daughter: Kristi (Cam) Reagin of Statesboro, GA. Seventeen Grandchildren: SarahBeth (Bryan) Eriksen, Hannah  (Michael) Robey, Cohen  (Rebekah ) Wills, Natalie Wills, Daniel  (Lauren ) Wills, Russell (Mary Claire ) Wills, Catherine Wills, Jane  Wills, Andrew  (Bruce) Wills, Alex  (Hannah ) Wills, Emily  Wills, Caroline Wills, Anna  Wills, A.J.  Wills, Caitlyn  (Josh) Kitchens, Chris  (Madison ) Reagin, Christian  Reagin. Fifteen Great-Grandchildren. Several Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by: Husband: Dr. William R Wills, Father: Henry Russell Cohen and Mother: Mary Nell Barrett.

 

 

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at 11:00am at Covenant Church with Pastor Gregory Pope officiating. 

 

 

The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 17, 2023 from 10:00am to 11:00am at Covenant Church.

 

 

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
