Mr. Wilbur Israel Chaney, age 85 of Douglas, GA passed away Thursday morning, September 7, 2023 at Coffee Regional Medical Center following and extended illness. Mr. Chaney was born February 1, 1938 to the late Homer Chaney and the late Bessy Stone Chaney.
Mr. Chaney was born in Berrien County, but he lived in Coffee County for many years. Mr. Chaney had been employed in the Mobile Home Industry and he had also been employed with Miller Pump digging wells. He was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness.

2 Sisters: Wilma Chaney of Virginia
Wilda Martin of North Carolina
2 Brothers: Walter Chaney of Douglas. GA
Leroy Chaney of West Green, GA
Several Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Many Friends.
A memorial service will be announced for a later date. Memorialization will be by cremation.
