Mrs. Frances Lott Vickers, age 84 of Douglas, GA passed away Wednesday morning, September 27, 2023 at Coffee Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. Mrs. Vickers was born March 25, 1939 to the late Otis Lott and the late Emmie Batten Lott. Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Vickers and a brother: David Lott. 

 

 

Mrs. Vickers, a native of Atkinson County, had worked in a sewing factory for a number of years. She was also self-employed with Little Dove alterations. She was of the Baptist Faith. 

 

 

Survivors include: 

 

 

2 Children: Robert and Twyla McClendon of Douglas, GA 

Ronny and Virginia McClendon of Douglas, GA 

 

 

5 Step-Children: Ricky and Dena Harper of Douglas, GA 

Jeannie Harper and Buck Wiggins of Douglas, GA 

Lesha and Pedro Nito of Douglas, GA 

Ashley and Christie Vickers of Tifton, GA 

Sylvia and Roy McWilliams of Ty Ty, GA 

 

 

1 Brother: Tony Lott of Douglas, GA 

 

 

2 Grandchildren: Zane McClendon of Douglas, GA 

Jordana Thompson of Mora, GA 

 

 

4 Great Grandchildren: Kady McClendon, Aubrey McClendon and Kristina McClendon all of Douglas, GA 

John Daniel “Little Man” Thompson of Mora, GA 

 

 

Several Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Many Friends 

 

 

The family will receive friends on Saturday afternoon, September 30, 2023 from 1:00 PM until 2:30 PM at Ricketson Funeral Home. The graveside service and interment will be held Saturday afternoon, September 30, 2023 at 3:00 PM at Arna Cemetery with Rev. Roland Mitchell officiating. 

 

 

Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
