One individual is in custody and another is on the way to Coffee Regional Medical Center following a Christmas morning shooting near Nicholls.
Monday morning, a shooting was reported on Roberts Cemetery Road just east of Nicholls. According to sources, one individual, identified as Kevin Stone, 36, allegedly went to another’s home and shot him in the head. Stone then allegedly left and went to a residence a short distance away.
Officers responded to both locations. The victim was breathing but injured seriously. Stone was arrested and transported to the Coffee County Jail where he remains.
