Jo Jo Bell scored 31 points and three other players finished in double figures Saturday afternoon as South Georgia State College rolled to a 98-42 win over the North Florida Prep Myrmidons.

Kyric Davis had 16 points, seven rebounds, four assists, and three blocked shots. Devon Rainey and Yannis Woods each finished with 12 points. Rainey had four assists.

The Hawks held the Myrmidons to 23.3 percent shooting and forced a total of 28 turnovers, including 12 steals. SGSC shot 51.5 percent from the field and finished 5-for-10 from the beyond the arc.

Saturday’s game was the final non-conference matchup this season for SGSC. The Hawks begin defense of their GCAA Conference Tournament Championship Wednesday at East Georgia State. SGSC will open its home conference schedule Jan. 13 at 4 p.m. against Central Georgia Tech.

The SGSC athletic department has announced a change in ticket pricing for home basketball games. All regular season home games are now $7 with children five and under admitted free.
