Mr. Fred Douglas SR., 87 of Douglas, GA. passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2024 in the care of Community Hospice of Jacksonville, FL. He was born on November 30, 1936 to the late Dainel Arlington Douglas & Genell Carter Douglas.

He is survived by 1 Son; Fred Douglas JR (Rhonda) of Willacoochee, GA.

1 Daughter; Myra Belk (Glenn) of Smiths Station, AL.

4 Granddaughters; Rachel Douglas Peterson (Blake) of Douglas, GA, Perris Taylor of Orlando, FL, Scarlett Martin (Travis) of Phenix City, AL and Rebecca Douglas Crowder (Chris) of Valdosta, GA.

4 Great-Grandsons; Jeremiah Taylor of Smiths Station, AL, Malilki Claypool of Smiths Station, AL, Rocky Martin of Phenix City, AL and Rowdy Martin of Phenix City, AL.

3 Great-Granddaughters; Kaylie Porter of Douglas, GA, Jada Sapp of Carrollton, GA and Carmen Crowder of Valdosta, GA

1 Brother; D.A. Douglas of Baxley, GA

2 Sisters; Carolyn Holton of Douglas, GA and Louis Marie Chapman (Steve) of Ashburn, GA

Several Nieces, Nephews, other Family members and Friends also survive.

Other than his parents Mr. Douglas is preceded in death by His Wife; Nancy Marie Douglas, 4 Sisters; Elizabeth Thrift, Jeanett Douglas Ogden, Laura Nell Douglas and Hilda Douglas Hastings.

Visitation will take place starting at 10:00 AM, Friday, January 5, 2024 at Morningside Baptist Church.

Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 AM at Morningside Baptist Church.

A private burial will take place in Stokesville Church Cemetery following the service.

Johnson Funeral & Cremation Services is in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Fred Douglas SR.
