Pauline Smith, age 89 of Douglas, Ga, passed away peacefully at her residence on Saturday, February 17th, 2024. She was born on February 17th, 1935 the daughter of Mr. Oris Commando Davis and Mrs. Idelle Murray Davis.

Her survivors include: One Son; Arthur C. Smith Of Douglas, Ga, Six Grandchildren; Corey Smith, Leighanne Smith (Mickey) Thomas, Autumn Hawkins ( Casey) Whittle, Jody Smith, Austin Smith, and Andrew Hayward, Seven Great-Grandchildren; Michael Kobe Whittle, Bethany Whittle, Logan Thomas, Olivia Thomas Baker, Bryson Rollins, Ryan Smith, and Blakely Rollins, along with several Great-Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: Her beloved husband; Leland C. Smith, One Son; Michael Smith, One Daughter; Carla Smith Faulk, Father; Oris Commando Davis, Mother; Idelle Murray Davis, Two Brothers; Joel Wiley (JW), and Robert Elton Davis.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 21st, 2024 at Pinegrove Baptist Church, from 10:00AM until 11:00AM.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, February 21st, 2024 from 11:00AM till 12:00PM, at Pinegrove Baptist Church, with Rev. Larry Stone Officiating and special speaker Johnny Wayne Jowers.

Active Pallbearers will include: Casey Whittle, Kobe Whittle, Billy Rollins, Johnny Wayne Jowers, Mickey Thomas, and Logan Thomas.

Pinegrove Baptist Church will be receiving family for a meal at the church after the burial.

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
