Larry Pridgen, age 79, of Broxton, GA, passed away on Friday, February 16, 2024. Mr. Pridgen was born on, November 24, 1944 in Coffee County, GA, to the late Charlie Pridgen and Allie Thurman Pridgen.

Survivors include: His Wife; Judy L. Cliett Pridgen of Broxton, GA, Two son; Larry Pridgen, Jr., of Davis Oklahoma, and Dusty (Kim) Pridgen of Broxton, GA, Three daughters; Shelly (Tom) Calhoun of Fitzgerald, GA, Melissa (Kevin) Batten of Wray, GA, and Deeva (Scott) Askew of Pearson, GA, Sixteen grandchildren, Four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Pridgen was preceded in death by; One brother; Jimmy Pridgen, One Sister; Sue Collins, and One granddaughter Kaytlin Batten.

The Family will receive friends on Monday, February 19, 2024, from 6:00PM until 9:00PM at Sims Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at 2:00PM, and will lie in state prior to service, at Pridgen Baptist Church, Pridgen, GA with Rev. Hardy Crosby officiating, Rev. Tommy Miller, and Rev. Joel Auger assisting.

The interment will follow the service at Pridgen Baptist Church Cemetery.

Active Pallbearers will be Dexter Collins, Doug Pridgen, Shannon Thurman, Billy Merritt, James Griffin, Shane Pridgen, John Smith and Andy Pridgen.

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
