22-year-old Douglas woman arrested on meth trafficking charges in Kentucky

A Douglas woman has been arrested and charged with trafficking methamphetamine after a vehicle in which she was riding was stopped and searched in Triggs County, Kentucky.

According to a story posted on wkdzradio.com, Candice Kirkland, 22, of Douglas, was riding in a vehicle with Jamison Kassinger, 24, of Cadiz, Kentucky, when a Trigg County deputy stopped their vehicle Sunday afternoon. The report says that the officer stopped Kassinger for driving with a suspended license. A search of the vehicle yielded marijuana, methamphetamine, and a glass pipe. 

Kassinger and Kirkland were both charged with possession of marijuana, trafficking methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Kassinger was also charged with driving with a suspended or revoked license.
