Douglas National Bank (DNB) has once again demonstrated its unwavering commitment to the health and well-being of our community by contributing $200,000 through the Georgia HEART Hospital Program. This generous donation will directly support Coffee Regional Medical Center (CRMC) in its ongoing efforts to provide top-quality healthcare to the residents of Coffee County and beyond.

DNB President and CEO Stuart Smith expressed the bank’s deep-rooted connection to the community, stating, “We are proud of our partnership and increasing association with CRMC. AT DNB, our mission goes beyond banking. As a true community bank, it is important to show strong support for such a key pillar of our community. We are proud to call Douglas and Coffee County home and focus all of our resources here. For our community and customers to continue to thrive we must have a stable and strong healthcare provider.”

Vicki Lewis, CRMC President & CEO, shared her gratitude for the bank’s continued support: “We are incredibly thankful for the generous contribution from Douglas National Bank. Their partnership is invaluable in helping us provide the best possible care for our patients right here at home. DNB’s support will have a lasting and positive impact on the health and wellness of our community.”

The Georgia HEART Hospital Program allows businesses and individuals to redirect their state income tax liability to support qualifying rural hospitals, including Coffee Regional Medical Center. CRMC is one of 55 eligible hospitals and ranks 14th in terms of financial need, as identified by the Georgia Department of Community Health.

There’s still time to participate in the Georgia HEART Program for 2024 and make a difference in your community. For more information on how you can support Coffee Regional Medical Center through this initiative, please contact Becky Butler, CRMC Interim Foundation Director, at Rebecca.Butler@coffeeregional.org or call 912-383-6910.
