Coffee Regional Medical Center has released a statement regarding its operations in the aftermath of the unprecedented destruction left in the wake of Hurricane Helene:
“We are pleased to announce that Coffee Regional Medical Center is fully operational and serving our patients and community after the challenges posed by Hurricane Helene. Your health and well-being are our top priorities, and we are committed to providing the care you need.
“Our normal visiting hours are now in effect, but to ensure safety, we are limiting visitation to two designated visitors per patient. Visiting hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. daily. Please note that our ICU and all Nursing Floors observe QUIET TIME from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. to create a supportive healing environment. All visitors must enter through the Emergency Room entrance. Additionally, our cafeteria will remain closed to the public this week as we focus on supporting our staff and patients.
“We are proud to offer essential services, including oncology and infusion services, mammography & other imaging, cardiology, surgical services, mother and baby care, and inpatient dialysis. Our dedicated team is here to support you and your loved ones during this recovery period.
“Please be aware that our CRH Physician Offices, and Orthopedic Surgeons of Georgia (OSGA), are working diligently to reopen. Open as of 9/30/24: CRH Cardiology Group in Valdosta and OSGA in Tifton. If you have a scheduled appointment or need to book one, please contact the office directly for the latest information on office hours.
“Our urgent care clinic, Coffee Regional First Care, located next to Starbucks at 1301 S. Peterson Ave, is open with limited hours, accepting patients until 5:00 p.m. each day this week. For urgent care needs after 5:00 p.m., please visit the Emergency Room.
